This morning while getting a lifted by my aunts, i ask one of my aunt to sign my notes, since i couldn't get my dad to sign them the night before. One of then was year 12 retreat, the other was a blood donation note. That aunt went, 'Blood Donation!? Would your dad allow you to do this?" i replied ' errr yes! he agrees to everything!' my oldest aunt rang in and was like "NO!" i asked why and she give the MOST UNREASONABLE ANSWER!
(my best translation from Chinese to English) 'your always so tried, after getting blood taken out you'll be so weak for school' i had a rebuttal on her statement, ' its on a Friday, last period and its in chatswood so i can easily walk home after it, besides its the weekends after anyway so how does me being tired affect it?"
her answer was something completely random and un-fare ' You might get some kind of infection or virus etc. and you'll get sick and die( something among those lines)
i replied' what? sick! NO they have to follow instructions, also what are the chances of me getting an illness from that!'
my cousin being soooo helpful just wanted to put something extremely random out there ' you could also get poked by the needles countless times since they need to fined your vain.'
with that came a repeat of stupid reasons to why i couldn't donate blood...
Firstly i wish to do it, how ever since Chinese culture has a tradition that the oldest is the wises, or something among those lines, my reasons to why i should be able to go all just became a pointless argument of me trying to prove what they were saying were unjust nor was it reason able. In the end i gave up...
My reasons are, it wouldnt matter if i became tired since its the weekends
i would be missing one period in which the teacher herself and the majority of the class is also doing the thing, so i wouldn't mis much.
i was tired all week since i HAD TO CATCH UP IN WORK! ive caught up in legal and is now doing class work from this week, as well for math maths. However for maths i am still trying to catch up to the class.
i guess a week without school cause you to miss a hell of alot of work (year 12 remember)
just wanted to put what was on my mind from today, God us 'abc' have it hard...
