Its a personal thing, i find that 1/50 Cantonese songs are actually good or tolerable, personally i would listen to canto since im VERY bad at mando, i cant speak it fluently nor understand it 100% of the time, however i do prefer the songs sung in the dialect to be better.
But if anyone were to look at my music list, its populated by only around 1/10 or less of Chinese music and the rest are English.
Very random post i know, however as i was procrastinating right now, i wondered onto youtube, and looked up some Chinese songs, found that a old canto song which i like was re made into a mando version, i liked the mando one better :3
the song was 'where did you go' by G.E.M (my sister got me to listen to her song last year when the artist first started)
